It’s WonderFALL at Chief Logan State Park.
Meet at the museum for a WonderFALL hike that starts at 11:00 a.m. Led by naturalist Lauren Cole, this hike is excellent for anyone. We’ll explore the Fitness and Shawnee Trail for a total of about 1½ miles; very easy and suitable for small children. Bulk of the trip is walking rather than hiking. Plan for a couple hours of enjoying the outdoors, depending on the pace of the group. Learn tree ID from leaves and enjoy the colors as the trees change.
Earn a WonderFALL patch at the conclusion of the hike.
Please note there isn’t a fee to participate. We do emphasize that masks are required as we begin the walk. As the journey continues, hikers may determine their mask use. As always, we encourage the wearing of mask and social distancing to protect the people you are interacting with during the walk.
Wear comfortable and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes and dress for the weather, long pants are recommended; in October we never know what weather holds, but if you show, we go!
