The full moon lights the way on the Cliffside Trail. Join naturalist Lauren Cole at 6:00 p.m. in front of the park museum and hike by the light of the full moon.
A flashlight is recommended for safety reasons. Learn about nocturnal animals and your own nighttime vision. We will use a black light to see things in nature that fluoresce such as mushrooms, minerals, millipedes, and more. This is an easy hike, however some parts of the trail may have rocks, roots or be near sheer drops. The hike is about a mile total and suitable for all ages.
There is no fee to participate.
