The Matewan Homecoming celebration will be held on September 14, 2019.   The Matewan Homecoming celebration includes a car show, live entertainment, vendors, and a Matewan Massacre Reenactment. Fifty plaques and 40 trophies are awarded to car show participants as well as eleven special awards. Vendor spaces are free on a first come, first serve basis. Hatfield-McCoy Airboat tours, the Matewan Depot Replica, and the Mine Wars Museum are all open to the public.

The reenactment will begin at 12:00 pm.  The Car show registration will begin at 8:00 AM
