Ever wanted to step back into the 18th century? Now’s your chance with a visit to Chief Logan State Park’s authentic pioneer homestead! See the cabin staged as it would have been during life on the frontier, and learn some cool facts about early West Virginians! Arrive any time between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Tours run continuously, approximately every 20 minutes.
Free to attend and open to the public. From the Cabin Porch: Pioneer Cabin Viewing guided tour is for folks interested in history and generally curious. Families looking for an outdoor activity to learn more about area history with youth are encouraged to participate.
